Fuel Media is a creative studio in Auckland specialising in hand-built WordPress websites for New Zealand businesses. Over the past decade, the studio has helped trades, professional services, hospitality, and consumer brands look as good online as the work they do in person.

The model is simple: one senior creative handles your strategy, design, and creative direction from start to finish, with trusted developers and technical partners brought in when the project needs it. No account managers, no project coordinators, no explaining your business to someone new every other week.

Fast turnaround: Most sites are live within 3–4 weeks. The build itself takes two weeks – the variable is how quickly content and feedback come back.

MEET TIM KAVERMANN

I’m the person behind the work

I’ve spent over a decade working across web design, brand strategy, graphic design and commercial photography – both directly with business owners and behind the scenes for agencies and larger studios. That mix means I’ve built sites for tradies, law firms, psychologists, hospitality businesses, and consumer brands, but I’ve also delivered work at a level where bigger teams were trusting me with their clients.

Every one of them came in feeling overwhelmed by the process. Every one of them left proud of what I built for them.

I started Fuel Media because I wanted to offer that same calibre of work directly to the businesses that need it most… the ones with a great product or service but no marketing department to manage their online presence.

When I’m not building websites, I’m usually behind a camera. I shoot commercial photography and have a genuine passion for capturing moments, people and places. It keeps the creative side of my brain sharp and connects me to the wider world outside the screen.

I’ve worked with my technical partner for years. They manage the hosting, security, backups, and system updates for every site I build. This means your site is looked after by someone local (based in Auckland) whose full-time job is keeping WordPress sites fast, secure, and running properly.
